In reality, they talk than it actually happens, and they believe other students are having the encounters more often than they actually are, as a new study shows about it much more.

The study through the University of Nebraska-Lincoln examined just how university students’ social support systems frequently make them determine, perceive and take part in “hookups” — the slang term for casual intimate encounters away from dating or exclusive relationships. The analysis additionally looked over the level to which those sites influenced high-risk behavior that is sexual.
